We lived 5 houses down from each other and we would cook delicious vegetarian meals and do bits where we were two disgruntled mothers from Queens complaining about how our sons never call. \u201cIda, my son never calls, he breaks my heart. Next time he comes to see me I will push him back inside my womb so he won\u2019t have a choice but to talk to me.\u201d I digress\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_2 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--8be4a2bd-a327-4020-93ec-c87f7cf3dd8e\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>I was in a thrift store one day and\u00a0 found these two giant barbies. I instantly texted a photo to Ashley and told her we had to do something with them. We then devised a plan on how to turn these freaky toys into art. We landed on the idea of decorating the dolls with obsolete technology to make them look like extinct creatures. We cut hundreds of feathers from phone books, ripped out the ribbons from VHS tapes to make fringe and stripped wires to make tufts of chest hair.
