Initially I was going to display some printed pieces from Informed Revolution (which were woefully low res), but I also wanted to make something new that I could debut at the exhibit. I had recently watched the movie Seven (I was pretty sheltered from most pop culture stuff growing up, so I was very late to the game with watching cultural sensations) and I thought why not make a series about the Seven Deadly Sins but from the lens of the United States.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"et_pb_text_2 et_pb_text et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_module et_block_module preset--module--divi-text--8be4a2bd-a327-4020-93ec-c87f7cf3dd8e\"><div class=\"et_pb_text_inner\"><p>George W was president at the time and there were lots of things to respond to. At this point, I had really opened my eyes to the unfair labor practices of corporations like Walmart and wanted to address consumerism and the war in a visual way.
