Midsummer Bushwa
Designing for this Fringe play was my first big project since the start of the pandemic. It was a good reminder of how much I love making art and working on something more substantial. There was no real budget, so I had to be super resourceful on making a whole set from basically trash. This was a great challenge for me, and now that I am on the other side of it, I feel I am ready to start making art again closer to my pre-pandemic levels.
Closeups of the Props
I used a mini condiments container and a silicone straw to make a flower that squirts!
I used a silicone straw, chopstick joints and a paper washer to make a turn crank that actually works!
