Earrings

I love earrings, the weirder the better. I remember going to an art supply store with Jesse and b-lining to this pile of toys where I found these intestines. When I presented them to him and was like “I’m going to make these earrings” he was all “Sigh of course you find the weirdest thing in the entire store.” But obviously in a very loving and accepting way!

My signature earrings are my french fries. I have had them for about 13 years. I found the toy french fries at this recycle shop called the Scrap Exchange in Durham. I instantly thought those toys would make excellent earrings, so I took them home, poked a hole in them and wore them almost every day for a year.” 

I love pop art. I love taking everyday items and recreating them so they look real, while also not real putting an earring hook in them, and dangling them from my ears.
